Whether accurately positioning focal treatment in the macular area, or performing Pan-Retinal Photocoagulation (PRP) in the periphery, Integre Pro Scan provides a pattern and wavelength for every pathology.
The system offers a comprehensive array of pattern combinations. Shape, size, and rotation can be fully-customised in order to best meet your clinical requirements.
Integre Pro Scan provides a number of wavelength configurations, including two dual-wavelength options. This includes a high-power yellow and red configuration that delivers the full treatment spectrum of a traditional three-colour multi-photocoagulator.
561nm Yellow wavelength
This wavelength approximates the peak absorption of haemoglobin, is well absorbed by melanin in the Retinal Pigment Epithelium (RPE) but has minimal absorption by xanthophyll in the neurosensory retina. This makes it ideal for treatments in and around the macula. It also produces less scatter, which permits superior transmission through existing opacities.
With the 561nm yellow wavelength, you have more control over the laser-tissue interaction, which creates a more predictable, controlled burn. In addition, treatment can be performed at lower power levels, creating significantly less discomfort for the patient.
670nm Red wavelength
The 670nm wavelength features low absorption by haemoglobin, improving its transmission through minor pre-retinal, sub-retinal or intra-retinal haemorrhage. In addition, its penetration depth is ideal for selectively treating choroidal vessels, while helping to preserve the integrity of the overlying retinal layers.
670nm offers less scatter than the yellow wavelength, making it ideal for transmission through a cloudy cornea or lens. The results are gentle, deep retinal tissue penetration and effective treatment of choroidal vessels.
532nm Green wavelength
The 532nm wavelength is primarily absorbed by melanin and haemoglobin, making it ideally suited for treatment applications involving the RPE layer and new blood vessels. For example, the standard of care or common procedures such as Pan-Retinal Photocoagulation (PRP).
Unparalleled view of the fundus
Integre Pro Scan incorporates a custom-built optical system that is optimised for use in the posterior segment. Featuring a 10° stereoscopic angle, it provides excellent depth perception and a wide peripheral view. In addition, achromatic doublet lens technology provides a clearer view of the fundus and an optimal red-reflex in order to better observe the tissue-effect, allowing you to precisely titrate energy.
As an added benefit, the combination of high-grade crown glass materials, multi-layered anti-reflection coatings and next-generation filter technology maximises light transmission and provides an unparalleled colour-balanced view of the retina.

The Integre Pro Scan offers a number of features designed to improve ease-of-use and maximise patient throughput. The system boasts an intuitive touch-screen interface, an extensive selection of patterns, an all-in-one laser and slit lamp design and control at your fingertips.
Patterns of up to 16 spots can be delivered sequentially, as well as single spots. In addition, the system’s computer-controlled operation ensures precise pattern spacing and consistent shaping of laser spots and patterns for more accurate, consistent treatment results.
In addition to the touch-screen, an ambidextrous track pad is used, allowing easy navigation of the retina and adjustment of treatment parameters and pattern characteristics. This saved time and allows the user to perform treatment without the need to avert eyes from the oculars.
The system offers a second fibre port to connect a Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO), a range of pre-programmed lenses with a custom lens option and a favourites gallery for storing key treatment data for various clinical cases.

Integre Pro Scan’s unique all-in-one laser and slit lamp design channels the laser directly through the slit lamp optics. The end result is better visualisation and optimal illumination. In addition, this integrated design minimises system downtime, because there are no exposed fibre optic or electrical cables.
Use the touch-screen interface for easy, quick adjustment of all treatment parameters, including laser power, pulse duration, pattern selection and pattern size. The touch-screen can also be angled toward the patient to aid the consultative process.

The Integre Pro Scan can be combined with the ‘Total Solution’ table range in order to meet the needs of ophthalmic offices, ambulatory surgery centres and hospital outpatient clinics.
These tables are designed to meet the needs of any environment, with the added benefit of comfort, flexibility and an optimised patient-surgeon interface. They are portable and wheelchair accessible.
The power control footswitch is an optional accessory which allows the user to adjust power levels while maintaining hands-on control of the slit lamp and laser, without disturbing the view of the retina.
The Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO) is a dual-colour, lightweight-design based on the Heine Omega 180 binocular indirect ophthalmoscope, with coaxial laser beam and illumination. The LIO connects to the second external fibre port.
