Portable peak flow meter
‘Gold Standard’ for asthma management, enables objective measurement of airway constriction, suggesting actions necessary for asthma management. Individually calibrated for absolute accuracy.
The market leader
The market-leading peak flow meter was pioneered by Clement Clarke International in the early 1970’s; the Mini-Wright peak flow meter is the ‘Gold Standard’ in asthma management.
The Mini-Wright Standard is lightweight and portable, peak flow measurements can be taking with easy and whilst on the go. Measuring PEF between 60-800 L/min, the Standard Mini-Wright is available in two scales.

The Mini-Wright was introduced in the 1970’s to enable the benefits of peak flow monitoring to be accessed in doctor’s surgeries and at patient’s homes, all around the world.
It marked an important advance in asthma management because it enabled objective measurement of airway constriction and appropriate actions to be taken as a function of that constriction.
Every Mini-Wright is individually assembled and calibrated by highly trained operatives to ensure consistent performance. All calibration test equipment is frequently checked to ensure that the highest of standards are met.
Conforming to standards
Mini-Wright PFMs are manufactured to one of two standards; the EU and ATS Mini-Wright Standard is manufactured to one of two standards; ATS scale (tested to the American Thoracic Society standard) and an EU scale (tested to the European standard), colour coded for easy recognition.
In addition a visually impaired version of the EU scale is available for those requiring larger numbers.
The Mini-Wright Standard is fitted with an internal one-way valve; this avoids accidental inhalation through the device. This is especially important when the device is used in a multi-patient setting. For clinic use we strongly recommend the use of a disposable one-way valve mouthpiece to avoid cross-contamination.
Minimise cross infection
Infection control has become a critical issue in healthcare. Clement Clarke offer a wide range of mouthpieces, designed to minimise cross infection between patients, making many devices safe for multi-patient use.
All infection control products fit the entire Mini-Wright range and have no effect on readings. Please note: a new mouthpiece should be used after each patient.
Download diary card
Peak flow diary card allows patient to monitor their peak flow readings, can be very useful when reviewing a patients asthma.
Beneficial and good practice to encourage all asthma patients to log readings, not only for asthma review purposes but this information can be used for patients to interpret and see patterns that may suggest they need further assistance with their condition. Such insight could potential reduce the risk of condition deterioration.
