Inspiratory flow meters

The In-Check range of hand-held inspiratory flow meters is a direct result of Clement Clarke’s experience in measuring airflow. Innovative product development has seen the revised edition of the In-Check DIAL, with the introduction of the new In-Check DIAL G16.

Clement Clarke are continually working with clinicians to develop this pioneering, but practical application of simple inspiratory flow measurement for the appropriate selection and efficient use of inhalers; the measurement of inspiratory capability in COPD patients.

In-Check Nasal

The In-Check Nasal works when a patient inhales through the nose causing air to be drawn through the meter, a cursor moves along the scale to indicate the speed of inhalation. The flow rate achieved can be noted by checking the position of the cursor against the calibrated scale.

In-Check Oral

The In-Check Oral works when a patient inhales through the mouth, which will cause air to be drawn through the meter and a cursor to move along the scale to indicate the speed of inhalation. The flow rate achieved can be noted by checking the position of the cursor against the calibrated scale.
