We care for your Octopus
Already the very first automated perimeter – the Octopus 201 – did receive an interface to PCs to evaluate data in computer networks. Therefore Haag-Streit can still provide evaluation support for all previous Octopus generations with todays software. Even if you bought your Octopus many years ago, there may be software updates available for your instrument that make it more valuable to you for the years to come.

Octopus 101 and PeriTrend
The Octopus 101 is an excellent “allrounder” in many clinics today. Options include an outstanding Goldmann Kinetic Perimetry, the TOP fast threshold algorithm and Blue/Yellow (SWAP) perimetry. For additional options and hardware upgrades please contact your distributor.
The instrument is controlled via the PeriTrend PC software for static perimetry and it’s Goldmann Kinetic Perimetry (GKP) module for kinetic perimetry. All Octopus 101 tests can be exported and evaluated in the latest EyeSuite Perimetry software. Static perimetry results can be directly transferred with an export button for immediate availability in EyeSuite networks.

Octopus 1-2-3
The Octopus 1-2-3 lead perimetry out of the “dark ages” allowing to perform reliable perimetry in lighted rooms. It is still a “workhorse” in many offices around the world and can be upgraded with the Dynamic fast strategy and even the TOP strategy. Please contact your distributor to upgrade to the latest software version.

- Instead of printing directly from the instrument, the Octopus 1-2-3 can be linked to the EyeSuite PC-Software via its serial RS-232 interface for data archiving, single field and trend analysis.

Octopus 500, 2000, 201
The Octopus models 500, 2000 and 201 are full field perimeters that can be connected to the PC software Peritrend via serial RS-232 interface.
If you already have PeriTrend you can upgrade to the latest version 6.07 free of charge.
