EyeCap DIGITAL PRO has been designed to work with many models of fundus cameras and is capable of being used to upgrade existing devices already in use(CF-60UD, CF-60UV, CF-60UVi or the later cameras marketed by Canon (CF-1, CF-60DSi for example). Images with high resolution may be captured with the current range of EOS cameras and provide extremely high quality images with brilliant colour fidelity, contrast and tone range, and are capable of recording the finest of pathology.
The images are viewed on the monitor as acquired into EyeCap where they can be reviewed and optimized using the various processing tools that include an image capture timer. A unique archiving and image resizing method has been developed to facilitate the storage of large volumes of the high quality images on-line which provides fast track access to images from any patient visit and allows for rapid comparison of all of the patient’s examinations. All images are stored in a secure environment but can be easily exported for referral or teaching and used with other applications and third party software.
