DICOM SCU

The DICOM SCU (Service Class User) option, in combination with an EyeCap system, provides users with the option to ‘DICOMise’ images produced with both existing and new equipment. EyeCap DICOM SCU option provides users with the ability to query a work list, perform capture based on this data and transfer the images in DICOM format to a DICOM store / PACS taking care of the required verification during this process.

  • Capture and store in DICOM format, images from multiple sources
  • Keeps a local copy of the images sent to PACS for rapid access
  • EyeCap capture systems can be upgraded with the SCU option

 The DICOM SCU Option is now also approved by the VA for use with VistA Imaging and will be on the approved list in the near future.
