Excellent Optics

The BX 900 is based on the slit lamp microscope from the BQ 900 and therefore shares the same optical brilliance. With the best view of the eye it is then possible to create the best image.

The unique quick return mirror system ensures that 100% of light energy is available to compose the image and when the trigger is released 100% of the flash energy is directed to the camera. The automated aperture control facilitates the highest quality image as viewing is through the widest aperture. Only when the trigger is pressed, the aperture is engaged, and the benefit of increased depth of field appreciated.

Complete control over the illumination levels, coupled with the excellent optics and outstanding depth perception makes the BX 900 the instrument of choice for the many ophthalmic imaging professionals.
