LENSTAR is among the winners of the “red dot design award”

Haag-Streit’s new laser optical biometer called LENSTAR was honoured with the internationally well established design award for industrial product design, the “red dot award”. 

LENSTAR was introduced end of 2008 into the European markets and is a new device that combines high end laser optical biometry, keratometry, pupillometry and IOL calculation. It delivers up to 9 measurements including lens thickness in one shot.   

With more than 11,000 submissions from 61 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. The award is  a seal of quality; it stands for membership of the best in design and business. Thus LENSTAR stands out not only by its unique features and by its high reproducibility, but also by its appealing design.
